What’s new in version 2.0
A completely new program built on modern technology. Everything you know from version 1.3.4 – plus tools that save even more material and time in the workshop.
MAX optimisation
Tries several calculation methods and ways of using stock, then offers you the best result. You also see the theoretical minimum number of bars – how many you would need with zero waste.
Offcut stock
Usable offcuts are recorded in stock, and the program uses them first on the next job. After cutting, you confirm each new offcut with a single click.
Graphical cutting plan
Every bar drawn with its parts, offcut and waste. Print the plan for the workshop and tick off finished cuts right on the screen.
Excel and printing
Clear output to Excel and to the printer: what to take from stock, what to return to it and what to throw away – plus a separate sheet with the graphical cutting plan. Excel opens with a single click, and material consumption is shown in metres.
Fast data entry
Paste dimensions straight from Excel via the clipboard, open jobs with a double-click and find recently used ones in the menu. The program catches typos and implausible values.
Licence without a USB dongle
You receive your licence key by e-mail straight after payment. Activate the licence simply by entering the key, and transfer it when you replace your computer. Nothing to ship, nothing to lose or break.
How it works
Enter the dimensions
Type in the dimensions and quantities, or paste them from the clipboard. Set the bar length, the kerf and, if needed, a trim cut at the start of the bar.
Run the optimisation
Within seconds, the program proposes a cutting plan. It uses offcuts from stock first, then new bars – with as little waste as possible.
Cut to plan
Print the plan or send it to production in Excel. After cutting, confirm the new offcuts into stock and they are ready for the next job.
“We use Pipe-tunes to process our orders and send the cutting plans straight to production. The material savings are substantial.”
